About The Project

The World in Faces

As a photography artist, Alexander Khimushin has poured his heart and soul into The World in Faces photo project, which centers around two fundamental principles. The first is to pay homage to and safeguard the traditional cultures of Indigenous Peoples for the betterment of humanity. The second is to foster mutual respect and understanding among people of different cultures and nations, creating a world that flourishes in peace and harmony.

Alexander’s paramount aspiration is to curate a remarkably diverse, awe-inspiring, and vivid collection of photographic portraits that embodies the unparalleled beauty and cultural opulence of Indigenous Peoples that grace our planet. Through an artistic vision, he endeavors to not only raise awareness of their traditional cultures but also to defend their ways of life and pay homage to their unique heritage.

Mission

Transformative photography

“Through the lens of artistic photographic portraits, I endeavor to capture the beauty of individuals from diverse ethnicities across the world, adorned in their traditional attire amidst the very surroundings that have shaped their ancestry for generations.”

Each and every ethnic group, however large or small,  holds its own unique story, and it is my unwavering belief that every culture deserves equal recognition and the utmost respect.

Vision

One World. One People. One Love.

The World in Faces photo project is a tribute to the remarkable diversity of our multicultural world, highlighting the dignity, beauty, wisdom, and vibrancy of cultures and traditions of people of different ethnicities. By celebrating our differences and embracing our commonalities, we can foster a more tolerant and compassionate world.

“Embark with me on this journey. Together, we are able to cultivate a spirit of compassion, acceptance, and love towards one another, and work towards creating a world that thrives on peace and harmony. One World. One People. One Love.”
