Alexander Khimushin, the author of he World In Faces, during his epic journey across Siberia make a turn to the North to drive more than 1000 miles by beaten roads to get to Yakutia, his homeland. Last time he was in Yakutia over 13 years ago, but decided to come back to take portraits of Evenki, Yukagir, Even, Dolgan, Chukcha and Sakha people that live in this extremely remote and the coldest area of the world.  An interview he gave to a local TV Channel is below (opens by click in a separate window).
